The long arm of law has finally caught up with the man who masterminded the beating and assault on a slay queen over alleged phone theft.

The man who allegedly mobilized thugs to molest, torture and insert pepper in a lady's private parts over phone theft in a trending video, has been arrested.
According to Barrister Jefferson Uwoghiren, the man was arrested yesterday evening, along with the manager of a hotel he lodged briefly in Benin City, Edo state.
The suspect was temporarily and amorously linked with the victim and subsequently complained of a missing phone. He forced the victim to a native “doctor”, around Ugbiyokho area of Ekehuan Road, Benin City, to determine the culpability of the victim.
The victim was instantaneously pronounced guilty and asked to produce the missing phone. Victim’s denial and protest fell on deaf ears.
The suspect, native “ doctor” and apprentice native “ doctors” pounced on the victim, beat her up, stripped her unclad, and poured grounded chilly pepper, popularly called “ Akpoko” in local language and inserted it into the victim’s private part, all dramatically caught on video.
According to reports, a massive manhunt is on native “doctor” and his apprentices is on the way.
The League of Patriotic Lawyers had earlier given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture of the lady.

RE: VIRAL VIDEO OF INDECENT ASSAULT ON A YOUNG NIGERIAN LADY

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested six male suspects involved in the shocking, barbaric and indecent assault meted out on a young Nigerian female as shown in a video which recently went viral.
Following the dehumanizing incident, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu had ordered a comprehensive investigation into the report.
Consequently, the Edo State Police Command, led by its Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu swung into action, leading to the investigative breakthrough.
Two other male suspects are still at large. Efforts are being intensified to arrest them and bring all involved to justice.
The Nigeria Police Force condemns jungle justice in its entirety and warns of dire consequences for persons who resort to criminal acts of self-help.
The six male suspects arrested are: (1) Otoghile Joel (owner of the phone alleged to have been stolen by the young woman) (2) Lucky Igbinovia (alias "One Man Squad" in whose house the young woman was tortured) (3) Edobor Osemwengie (manager of Lafun Hotel) (4) Kingsley Iyamu (5) Gregg Eweka (6) Friday Omorogbe.
Meanwhile, the police have established contact with the female victim, aged 24 years. Her health status and recovery rate are being monitored.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu will be providing more details as the investigation progresses.
